A full-wave Method of Moments analysis of a waveguide slot coupler between two crossed rectangular waveguides is presented. A couple of integral equations are derived, taking rigorously into account the finite waveguide wall thickness, and then solved using the Galerkin procedure. The use of an entire domain basis functions expansion for the unknown magnetic currents on the slot allows to solve the problem using a very small linear system. In order to achieve a faster convergence in the computation of the Method of Moments matrix elements, the magnetic field is expressed through the Fitzgerald vector potential. Some comparisons with experimental data will assess the whole procedure.
