Le piante rare e/o in pericolo di estinzione della Provincia di Cagliari e la strategia dell'Orto botanico per la conservazione della biodiversità

The danger hanging over some species and the necessity of protecting them led the Provincial Administration of Cagliari to stipulate a Convection for creating a new germoplasma collection centre in Cagliari Botanical Garden. The authors, besides providing a detailed list of the entity that need to be protected and preserved ex situ or possibly in situ in the province of Cagliari, also report the results concerning the germination of seeds and/or the cuttings taking root of the species utilized during the first year: Astragalus maritimus, Buxus balearica, Satureja thymbra.
