Abstract

A new feeding technique for printed Log-periodic dipole arrays (LPDAs) is presented, and used to design a printed LPDA operating between 4 and 18 GHz. The antenna has been designed using CST MICROWAVE STUDIO 2010, and the simulation results show that the antenna can be used as an Ultra Wideband Antenna in the range 6–9 GHz.
