Abstract

Different seismic techniques are jointly used for the characterization of the experimental test site prepared for the ICS’2 Conference: the Surface Wave Method, SH Reflection and Noise Analysis (H/V). Geologically the site is composed by a residual soil layer resultant of weathering of granites, about 15 meters thick, overlaying granite bedrock. This set of tests provide consistent data that allow comparison between the different types of non-intrusive seismic techniques, discussing the reliability and limitations for each particular technique applied for this case study
