The influence of three different pre-training methods, of two series of visual pattern (different for difficulty) and of two different motivations (avoidance and escape) on the learning of visual discrimination task, is studied in 52 SEC/J mice. Using a new apparatus, non-visual strategies (olfactory strategy) are neutralised. Results emphasise that performance and solution strategies are related to the type of pre-training, the type of motivation and the type of pattern.

Abstract
The influence of three different pre-training methods, of two series of visual pattern (different for difficulty) and of two different motivations (avoidance and escape) on the learning of visual discrimination task, is studied in 52 SEC/J mice. Using a new apparatus, non-visual strategies (olfactory strategy) are neutralised. Results emphasise that performance and solution strategies are related to the type of pre-training, the type of motivation and the type of pattern.File in questo prodotto:
