Abstract

The contemporary City is often unbalanced, not inclusive, fragmented. It reveals a profound erosion of its vital framework of social relations, and a disconnection among the consolidated routines of the government of the city and the evolution of practices and uses performed by people. A solution can be found in reuse and regeneration of residual spaces, as an action apt to incentive participation of residents and users in the process of transformation and of government of a city, and apt to build scenarios capable to act as a catalyst of a various range of interactions among people, public institutions and urban realms.
