In this paper we will show how some of the problems inherent in the European Commission document to which reference was made to collect ferments already largely operating in the philosophical debate and political renaissance of the nineteenth century Europe. We refer, in particular, the "European constitutional model" theorized by Antonio Rosmini in the Constitution according to Social Justice (1848), a model which, for the first time in the history of Europe, is directed to seek an identity of common principles on the basis of which establish a Constitution of universal value.

Abstract
