Abstract
This chapter took the floor, starting from the idea that today more than ever the book with illustrations is a very important text source and a privileged device, preferred and liked as the mere reading. The book is often a bearer of polysemic expression, although sometimes transmitted through various means of expression (written text and pictures). Hereof starts also the analysis of some of the major works of one of the most important Italian illustrators of books for adolescents and not only for them, because Roberto Innochenti examines also himself, and also the matter to what extent have his illustrations an indirect influence on literature for children.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
