Abstract
Comparisons are made between the well-known non destructive technique of flat-jack used in masonry and the recently introduced PNT_G penetrometer, best suited to in situ measurements of mortar strength. A method is proposed for determining the stress-strain response law of masonry walls subjected to vertical loads by means of PNT-G on mortar joints and axial tests on the blocks. The technique gives the best results in case of weak mortar respect to blocksFile in questo prodotto:
