The essay deals with Florentine commercial and financial penetration in the Angevin kingdom between the age of Charles I and that of Robert the Wise, with a look at the second half of the 14th century. Using a comparative approach that compares the Mezzogiorno with the co-realities of France and England, also strongly involved in Florentine economic expansion, attempts were made to better define the outline of the woven relations between a kingdom devoted to the production of agricultural products and commodities on one side and a city-state with marked merchant and manufacturing connotations on the other.

Abstract
The essay deals with Florentine commercial and financial penetration in the Angevin kingdom between the age of Charles I and that of Robert the Wise, with a look at the second half of the 14th century. Using a comparative approach that compares the Mezzogiorno with the co-realities of France and England, also strongly involved in Florentine economic expansion, attempts were made to better define the outline of the woven relations between a kingdom devoted to the production of agricultural products and commodities on one side and a city-state with marked merchant and manufacturing connotations on the other.File in questo prodotto:
