This essay concentrates on the Vienna’s Kriegspressequartier activity, the centre from which departed all the Austrian propaganda and counter-propaganda guidelines. In particular, the present work reconstructs the cultural, literary and artistic engagement of the KPQ from the very beginning of the war until the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
