The critical edition of Umberto Cardia, Il mondo che ho vissuto, a twentieth-century autographed manuscript contains an autobiographical account of a scholar who played an important role in National and International politics. The Preface by Joseph Buttigieg, together with the Introduction of the editor (both in Italian and in English) shed light on some aspects of Sardinian and Italian cultural history, with particular reference to the relationship between subaltern and dominant groups.

Abstract

The critical edition of Umberto Cardia, Il mondo che ho vissuto, a twentieth-century autographed manuscript contains an autobiographical account of a scholar who played an important role in National and International politics.
