Sardinian and Sicilian archaeological literature give us a lot of studies, but there are not many papers and books about the relationship between these two islands under the political, cultural economical and religious aspects. Recently some archaeological researches and discoveries put in light that Sardinia and Sicily sometimes in ancient times lived similar situations and events as the archaeological evidence prove. The aim of the present paper is to compare the data of both islands in the early Christian and byzantine age, from the origin of the Christianity until the pope Gregory the Great.
