Abstract
The article deals with some of the fundamental topics about orality and literacy, from the seminal statements of Milman Parry and Albert Lord on the Homeric writings to the proposals of Paul Zumthor in relation to oral poetry under the lens of performance theory, through the revolutionary points of view of the protagonists of the School of Toronto (Marshall McLuhan, Eric Haveloc and Walter Ong). The set of the argument of these authors is analyzed and projected to the current contexts of the new technologies of the communication, in which classic concepts of orality and literacy acquire new dimensions.File in questo prodotto:
