The research that involve the Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering of the University of Cagliari and the Department of Drawing, Architectural composition and Project of the University of Alicante investigates the fortifications (bunkers and batteries) built during the decade 1936-45 along the Mediterranean coasts of Spain and Italy and the coastal towers network built since the 16th century.
La ricerca che coinvolge il Dipartimento di Ingegneria Civile, Ambientale e Architettura dell’Università di Cagliari e il Departamento de Expresión Gráfica, Composición y Proyectos della Univesidad Politecnica de Alicante ha ad oggetto le fortificazioni (bunker e batterie) erette durante il decennio 1936-45 lungo le coste mediterranee della Spagna e dell’Italia e la rete di torri costiere costruita in a partire dal Cinquecento.
