The paper is part of a wider research project dealing with the relations between city and sport, aimed at understanding themes as urban rent and urban regeneration, accessibility and social inclusion. The present work is focused on the two case studies of Cagliari and Trieste, from the point of view of their sport users, observing places, concentration and patterns. The present work is aimed at analyzing cities (Cagliari and Trieste here) from the point of view of their sport users, observing places, distribution, and searching for suggestions for urban planning in terms of areas and modes of interventions aimed at improving the well being and quality of life of their citizens.
