Challenges of Humanistic Management education in the digital era

In recent decades, scandals such as the failure of Enron, the financial crisis of 2008 (Melé, 2008), and immense, numerous environmental damages have contributed in creating a world where nothing is like it ever was before. Following these dramatic events, numerous discussions such as that by Setò-Pamies and Papaoikonomou (2016, p. 254) have been triggered on the need for a more ethical business culture and how this change could and should directly involve the educational system.
