This book summarise the aim and first originals results of 10 years of excavations on Uthina, managed by the italian-tunisian team (University of Cagliari and Institut National du Patrimoine di Tunisi). The activity has been involved researchers applied in different fields, working in a multidisciplinary approach. They wrote, during ten years of activity, 4 books and more than 50 articles concerning several topics (history, archaeometry, graphic representation of the excavation site, restoration protocols, identification of materials for consolidation of the mortar). This text represents at the same time a summary and an introduction of over 400 pages in which researchers in different scientific fields, humanistic as well technical, published their studies.
