The subject of this study are lexical structures in German related to aesthetic or cosmetic surgery, one of the main directions of plastic surgery. After a brief introduction to this recent social phenomenon, which since the 1980s has been affecting wide sections of the German population, the resulting word combinations and phrases are presented and classified according to lexi-cal and phraseological criteria.

Il presente saggio si concentra su modelli lessicali e schemi in tedesco nel campo della "chirurgia estetica" (chirurgia plastica).
Cet essai se base sur un corpus comprenant des textes spécialisés et se concentre sur les modèles lexicaux et les schémas en allemand du domaine "Médecine et Chirurgie Esthétique".
Dieser korpusbasierte Aufsatz fokussiert auf lexikalische Muster und Schemata im Deutschen aus dem Bereich der Gebrauchsdomäne ,Schönheitschirurgie‘ (auch plastisch-ästhetische Chirurgie genannt), einem sozialen Phänomen, das immer breitere Bevölkerungsschichten erfasst. Nach einem Überblick über sogenannte traditionelle Redewendungen in Verbindung mit 'schön' folgt eine korpusbasierte Darstellung des geläufigen Wortschatzes, der seit den 1970er Jahren im Zusammenhang mit Schönheitsoperationen verwendet wird. Dabei entstanden neue Wortverbindungen oder bereits existierende Strukturen wurden semantisch umbenannt.
