What are the most effective strategies for online teaching? Is it possible to combine in-person and distance learning? In recent years, educational research has made significant advances in gathering evidence of the effectiveness of both classroom and online training interventions. Nevertheless, these two areas have often remained separate. This volume stems from the conviction that it is time to rethink models and practices by creating connections and new synergies between tradition and innovation, as well as between real and virtual learning environments. The idea is that the time is ripe for blended learning, that is, an approach that brings together the strengths of both in-person and distance education. For this integration to be successful, teachers and trainers need to build on established instructional principles while understanding the specificities, as well as the limitations and requirements, of each method.
È possibile far coesistere didattica in presenza e a distanza?

Abstract
What are the most effective strategies for online teaching? Is it possible to combine in-person and distance learning? In recent years, educational research has made significant advances in gathering evidence of the effectiveness of both classroom and online training interventions. Nevertheless, these two areas have often remained separate. This volume stems from the conviction that it is time to rethink models and practices by creating connections and new synergies between tradition and innovation, as well as between real and virtual learning environments. The idea is that the time is ripe for blended learning, that is, an approach that brings together the strengths of both in-person and distance education. For this integration to be successful, teachers and trainers need to build on established instructional principles while understanding the specificities, as well as the limitations and requirements, of each method.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
