The volume contains descriptions of 214 incunabula preserved in Cagliari, housed in the University Library and the libraries of the Capuchins of Sardinia, the Archiepiscopal Seminary, and the Pontifical Theological Faculty. As in the other volumes of this series, the description of the items is presented using an approach enriched by the method conventionally employed for the cataloging of manuscripts. This method entails an examination of the incunabulum as an object worthy of study in its own right, rather than merely as a witness to a specific edition. Of particular importance within the Cagliari collections are the specimens, all of which are exceedingly rare, printed in Iberian printing houses. These items are linked to Sardinia's political and institutional connection with the Crown of Aragon, and later Spain, a relationship that lasted for over four centuries.

Abstract
These items are linked to Sardinia's political and institutional connection with the Crown of Aragon, and later Spain, a relationship that lasted for over four centuries.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
