Leonardo nella Roma di Leone X (c. 1513-16): gli studi anatomici, la vita, l’arte.

The text reconstructs Leonardo's Roman period on the basis of new evidence. It identifies the location (the hospital of Santa Maria della Consolazione) of Leonardo's anatomical dissections in Rome and the reason for the accusations he received. It clarifies the relationship with Giuliano de Medici, brother of Pope Leo X, also through the identification of Medici symbols in drawings datable to the Roman years and points to the possible influence of Leonardo on Raphael, in particular on drawings for a Resurrection and studies of anatomy and geometry by Raphael dating back to the years of Leonardo's stay in Rome.

Il testo ricostruisce, in base a nuove evidenze, il periodo romano di Leonardo. Individua il luogo (ospedale di Santa Maria della Consolazione) delle dissezioni anatomiche realizzate da Leonardo a Roma e il motivo delle accuse ricevute. Chiarisce i rapporti con Giuliano de Medici, fratello del pontefice Leone X, anche attraverso la individuazione di simboli medicei in disegni databili agli anni romani e prospetta la possibile influenza di Leonardo su Raffaello, in particolare su disegni per una Resurrezioni e su studi di anatomia e geometria dell'artista urbinate risalenti agli anni del soggiorno romano di Leonardo.
