The pilgrimage relationship written by Pedro Manuel de Urrea, printed in Burgos in 1523, describes the journey between Rome, Holy Land and Santiago de Compostela that Pedro did between 1517 and 1519. This article analyses the information on the Sardinian part of the journey: particularly for the city of Cagliari, the Peregrinación provides valuable information about the political, cultural, demographic, economic, urban and religious characteristics.
