Main concept of our proposal concern the role of Huaghpu river as ecological corridor between Yangzte river and the green belt. Central Green areas of Shanghai could be improved along the river as well as it has been just done on Pudong. The park that has just been built along the Bund riverfront cuts the relation between the city and the river. This contition has suggested to change the section of Bund river front, enlarging both pubblic space and walkways. Also many floating gardens has been placed along the river to generate a new linear garden along the Bund. Pedestrian path has followed by light spots and trees. It ends on People’s memorial. Also the basament of this monument has been redesign to improve the relationship between pubblic space and water. From People’s memorial to the northern side bank, pedestrian walkway will continue with a new
