Diplomazia e alleanze di Mariano IV d’Arborea durante la guerra contro Pietro IV d’Aragona

The study focuses on the diplomatic network created by Mariano IV, judge of Arborea, during the long war waged against Peter IV, sovereign of the Crown of Aragon. In particular, based on the analysis of the 'Procesos contra los Arborea', the article reconstructs the figures and events of the Arborean ambassadors who conducted the negotiations, focusing on the alliances with Genoa, Milan, Pisa and the Kingdom of Castile.

Basato sull’analisi dei "Procesos contra los Arborea", lo studio si sofferma sulla rete diplomatica tessuta da Mariano IV, giudice d’Arborea, durante la lunga guerra combattuta contro Pietro IV, sovrano della Corona d’Aragona. In particolare, il saggio ricostruisce le figure e le vicende degli ambasciatori arborensi che gestirono le trattative, focalizzandosi sulle alleanze con Genova, Milano, Pisa e il regno Castiglia.
