Nuove attività di ricerca nell’area archeologica di Pranu Mutteddu di Goni (CA)

The archaeological site of Pranu Mutteddu, located in Goni, stands as one of the most significant Neolithic landmarks in Sardinia. This complex includes a Neolithic village, a hypogeic necropolis with domus de janas, circle tombs, and an exceptional concentration of menhirs. Recent research activities, conducted in collaboration with the Universities of Cagliari and Granada and the Archaeological Superintendency, employed advanced technologies such as GIS, 3D laser scanning, and aerial photogrammetry, enabling the precise mapping of structures and the development of a detailed scientific catalog. The study delved into the architecture of the tombs, the features of the menhirs, and the relationships between the monuments, unveiling new insights into the site's organization and ritual use
