In central western Sardinia, in the territory of Villa Verde (OR), there is the nuragic settlement of Bruncu ‘e S’Omu, which comprehends a nuraghe and a large village of huts, investigated for the first time during the period 1982–2004. Archaeological investigations by the University of Cagliari have resumed since 2013: we mainly dealt with the northern area of the village, consisting of a unitary set of circular or sub-quadrangular huts (at least eight), located around a central space. Abstract
