Tra valorizzazione e ricerca: archeologia dei paesaggi lungo il Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara (Sulcis-Iglesiente-Guspinese)

This contribution presents the preliminary results of a territorial investigation carried out within the research and enhancement activities of the archaeological heritage that develops along the Santa Barbara Mining Trail, a historical, cultural, environmental and religious itinerary that develops for about 500 kilometers in the Sulcis Iglesiente and Guspinese. The objective of the research is the attempt to reconstruct the communication routes during the Bronze Age, through the in-depth study of GIS applications such as Least-cost path analysis
