The survey shows that 95% of respondents argue that Sardinia's autonomy is very badly handled. In their opinion causes refer to different reasons and only a few call for a serious responsibility upon the legal source od Sardinia's autonomy: the Statuto. Actually scholars have maintained Statuto has been loosing its efficiency since 1997 and now it is definitely obsolete. The article faces "trust" and "rely" in the legal context, along with the need of a renewed legal basis for Sardinia's autonomy that it would be better not to lead to a deep "juridification" of its relationship with the Italian State.
