Over the years, bilingual dictionaries (now DB) have become a reference both for the general language and for technics, technolectes, scientific words and terminologies. The announcements of the processing of these units, contained in the pages of their pre-textual apparatuses, have become increasingly persistent. But the registration of terminology units (henceforth UT) in the structure of the DB has to face a series of fundamental problems, of which we list the most important: A) the selection of the term (s) to be processed in the macro and microstructure; (A) the selection of their equivalent or equivalent; (B) the interdisciplinary or "polyhedral" nature of the TUs. The three points are closely interrelated. In terms of choice and term and the equivalent, it is strongly related to the interdisciplinary nature of UTs and their use by different occupational groups. The standardization and standardization of terminology by international organizations does not exclude the "mobility" nature of UTs and the implementation of terminology usage. This communication is a reflection on the treatment of terminology in DB using two fundamental theories for us: that of Firth on the situational and cultural context, and that of the "doors" of M. T. Cabré. Its aim is therefore to answer finally the question: is there a space of terminology in the DB?
