The present paper reports the analysis of the potential energy distribution of MSW and of vegetable biomass in Sardinia and analyse by technical and economical point of view the effect of their integration at the aim of electrical energy production. In particular, a novel approach in the organization of biomass and MSW treatment has been proposed at the aim of developing a distributed network of small size pyrolysis biomass conversion plants. The analysis by technical and economic point of view confirms its validity.

Abstract
