Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) were assembled using Aloe barbadensis Miller leaves and Morus nigra L., Myrthus communis L., Rubia tinctorum L. and Pistacia lentiscus L. berries as natural sensitizer dyes of porous TiO2 films. The performances of the prepared DSSCs with the natural dyes were tested indoor under standard test conditions (STC) and under low irradiance. Conversion of solar light into electricity was successfully accomplished with all the tested natural dye sensitized cells. Method of solar cells fabrication strongly influences the dyes behaviour, which is reflected in the Jsc and Voc values. Ruthenium 535-bisTBA based cell has relatively high Jsc and Voc values, as expected, but its fill factor is rather poor in comparison with organic dye sensitised cell. Temperature coefficients dVoc/dT of natural dyes cells vary in the range of –(1.10 – 2.10) mV/K.

Abstract
Temperature coefficients dVoc/dT of natural dyes cells vary in the range of –(1.10 – 2.10) mV/K.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
