Evolutionary Design is an innovative procedure of antenna design, able to search in a very large solution space. As such, it tends to design superdirective antennas. It is shown here that inclusion of conductor losses prevents from superdirective solutions, with no degradation in EM performances, at the cost of a larger antenna size.
