Abstract
In view to extend the applicability of the approach followed in the case of rocks, cutting tests have been carried out on a variety of other materials (stainless steel, aluminium, glass, methacrylate) using again a number of abrasives of known characteristics at variable experimental conditions. The paper illustrates the results obtained and discusses the possibility of using the generalised mathematical model as a predictive tool for the preliminary evaluation of expected performance and the assessment of the unit cost of cutting to the advantage of end users of AWJ systems.File in questo prodotto:
