A synthesis technique for linear arrays of waveguide shunt slots, with a shaped beam, has been developed, generalizing Elliot's procedure, which is limited to pencil beam arrays. The results of the proposed technique have been validated through comparison with a commercial FEM software.

Abstract
A synthesis technique for linear arrays of waveguide shunt slots, with a shaped beam, has been developed, generalizing Elliot's procedure, which is limited to pencil beam arrays. The results of the proposed technique have been validated through comparison with a commercial FEM software.
