Abstract
The organisation of Byzantine Sardinian territory is a typical expression of a complex system in resources’ control. Viability and land use practices are well expressed by farms on the models of African farms in antiquity; furthermore the Church provides instruments for elections. A new Greek inscription from the countryside of Sinnai testifies the continuity in the liturgy of Greek monks as well as Latin ones, showing how the cultural horizons of the island may be extended to the Oriental part of the Mediterranean.File in questo prodotto:
