The characterization of concentration modules based on Fresnel lens performed in outdoor conditions is presented. Two different types of high concentration photovoltaic modules with point focusing silicone on glass Fresnel lenses as optical concentration element are characterized in order to make a comparison between them. Main differences between the two modules are represented by the number of multijunction solar cell as well as the dimension of the whole module. As to evaluate the performance of the modules, the measurements of the significant electrical parameters such as current-voltages characteristic and instantaneous power, have been measured in different weather conditions and further analyzed. In order to compare the obtained values with the nameplate ones the ASTM E2527 procedure has been applied. The effect of the wind speed has been also observed.

Abstract
The effect of the wind speed has been also observed.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
