GEOMETRICAL DESIGN ALGORITHMS IN THE PRISONS OF THE NINETHEEN CENTURY: THE CASE OF THE ROTUNDA IN TEMPIO PAUSANIA.

Centric architectures, based on the principle of the panoptikon, spangle all over European and American West since the sunset of the eighteen century, finding wide diffusion in the following century. The theoretical contents differentiate these works from the structures destined to forced jobs: the 'Penal Colonies'. Due to the government pertinence, the sketch of the detentive architectures sees the involvement of the planners of the Civil Genius.
