The topic of this research is the landscape and its transformations due to changes in the use of energy sources and the crisis connected to this. The landscape is formed of the signs and trails left by populations and nature on the area. The signs remain in the long run and influence the growth processes strongly so as to become the “rules” of the physical environment. Energy has a primary role of importance as it has always structured an environment through various uses and technologies. The infrastructures of energy sources are a vital support for the development of populations in economic and social terms. Over the past years the excessive development of cities and the irrational use of the environment has drawn attention to the necessity to consider renewable energy sources (RES) for various reasons: to resolve the climate problem due to the disastrous effects of greenhouse gas emissions in the atmosphere caused by the use of fossil fuels as a main source of supply and the fear of the depletion of those very fossil fuels (non renewable resources). Energy production technologies have been seen as marginal in the great changes in urban landscapes and are considered an accessory in the architecture of a city and landscapes rather than the skeleton of the system. For this reason the research carries out a study of the morphological structure of the landscape, to make it possible to process the structural knowledge for a contemporary project. The project and the transformations have an explorative purpose necessary for understanding and involving, by working on the physical forms, in order to re-establish them in relation to the uses and the meanings they have for the population involved.

Abstract
The project and the transformations have an explorative purpose necessary for understanding and involving, by working on the physical forms, in order to re-establish them in relation to the uses and the meanings they have for the population involved.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
