Abstract
Well before the urbanization process, the sea played a major role for the start of human peopling and further development of prehistoric groups of Sardinia. Many characteristics both in material culture and in the immaterial symbolic and ritual dimension bear evidence of the intensity of the overseas relationships that took place during the Neolithic. As to the topic of prehistoric exchange networks involving Sardinia, our paper focuses on the new data stemming from the Middle Neolithic (second half of the 5th millennium BCE) archaeological context of Su Forru de is Sinzurreddus at Pau, along the Eastern side of the Monte Arci massif (central-West Sardinia).File | Dimensione | Formato | |
