The removal of Massimo Bontempelli (1878-1960) from the consciousness is a theme dear to the lovers of the artist, so that it became a leitmotif in the reflection on his work. Starting from the well-known monograph written in the late seventies by Antonio Saccone, many studies, especially in the last fifteen years, have stressed the need to rehabilitate, bothhistorically and critically, this great hero of Italian twentieth century. Nevertheless, the conspicuous wealth of contributions that finally, after decades of silence, began to pay tribute to the vast and eclectic work of the writer of Como, not included, except in a marginal way, observations about his language. With the aim of contributing, at least in part, to bridge this gap, the volume brings together some works dedicated to the theatrical narrative production of Massimo Bontempelli, with particular reference to the linguistic and stylistic strategies used by the writer to realize the fantasy dimension that strongly characterized, as is known, his works. The book ends with a bibliographic review, comment cards and contributions relevant to Massimo Bontempelli with regard to the category of "fantasy" by the late eighties to 2005.

Abstract
The book ends with a bibliographic review, comment cards and contributions relevant to Massimo Bontempelli with regard to the category of "fantasy" by the late eighties to 2005.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
