In this chapter we show some methodological developments in the PLS-PM, which, recently, are applied to social sciences, to study complex phenomena such as poverty, well-being, sustainability. In particular, developments for the treatment of non metric data and hierarchical data can really help strongly in building Model Based Social Indicators.
