Nuovi percorsi di comunicazione archivistica: il database degli studenti dell'Università di Cagliari e l'Archivio sonoro demo-antropologico Luisa Orrù

The research project has as its object the creation of a database of the students who matriculated at the University of Cagliari from its origins to 1946 and the valorization of the Luisa Orrù demo-anthropological sound archives. Both are part of the new portal of the Historical Archives of the University, which allows users to know the history of the university and to navigate through its patrimony thanks to inventories and thematic paths. The database allows users to carry out a quick and easy search since the user can consult it through a simple or advanced search. The result of the search is a card with the personal information and the career of the student with date of birth, place of birth, year of matriculation, faculty, title of the thesis with relative archival position. A section of the portal is dedicated to the demo-anthropological sound archives of Luisa Orrù, an aggregate archives of the historical archives. At the moment, the archives is not yet available for consultation because it needs to be transferred from analog to digital, which required a period of study and work at the Maison méditerranéenne des sciences de l'homme (MMSH) in Aix en Provence. In conclusion, it can be said that the objective is to provide users with an innovative tool that is in step with the times, with terminology that is not too technical but easy to understand, even for those who do not have archival knowledge.
