The present study means to handle the topic of dystopian deletion in contemporary Italian novel. In particular, many authors have created an imaginary world where an iron heel destroy, at the same time, conscience, memory and identity. However, in more recent novels, erasure seems to be not necessary anymore, indeed the thought control is absolutely interiorized and it is peacefully instilled in human’s minds, in connection with a sort of alluring, winning and pervading power.

Abstract

The present study means to handle the topic of dystopian deletion in contemporary Italian novel.
