Synthetic light field data is obtained using 3D rendering software, so that no equipment is. An architecture for quality evaluation of compressed synthetic light field images is proposed in this paper. Performances of two state-of-the-art video encoders (x265 and VP9) are evaluated and the obtained results are discussed.
