A Sierpinski Gasket monopole antenna for breast cancer detection is presented in this paper. The Sierpinski triangle is obtained through two iterations. The antenna is printed on FR4 substrate and orthogonally placed above a metal 120 × 120 mm2 ground plane. It operates in the bandwidth between 0.5 and 12 GHz and presents three frequency bands at 1.737 GHz, 3.53 GHz, and 6.9 GHz with fractional bandwidth equal to 9.15%, 25.2% and 20.3%, and gain equal to 4.35 dBi, 7.42 dBi and 6.01 dBi, respectively. The analysis of the antenna is performed using CST Studio suite software.
