Emotions play a crucial role in human life, influencing social interactions and purchasing decisions. Understanding and interpreting emotions is essential for various industries and fields of study. The ability to interpret human emotions can lead to more targeted marketing campaigns and prevent individuals in a heightened emotional state from engaging in activities like driving. Affective computing (AC) has garnered significant interest in recent years, and it involves developing emotion recognition systems based on processing facial expressions or physiological parameters. Recognizing emotions using physiological parameters requires portable and wearable electronic systems to acquire and process the physiological signals. In our paper, we propose a new acquisition system consisting of portable electronics to gather EEG signals and a Matlab interface to study human emotions after exposure to emotionally evocative images.

Abstract
In our paper, we propose a new acquisition system consisting of portable electronics to gather EEG signals and a Matlab interface to study human emotions after exposure to emotionally evocative images.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
