With the growing expansion of the metaverse, the need to link digital identity with real-world identity has become essential to foster secure and authentic interactions within virtual environments. The metaverse allows users to express their personalities through avatars and wearable items; however, the need for accurate identity representation becomes crucial in professional, educational, and commercial settings. In these contexts, where individuals from across the globe collaborate and assume responsibilities within virtual rooms, it is critical to prevent issues of trust and security that may arise from potential identity substitutions. This paper describes soulbound-wearables as a possible solution to bridge the gap between digital and real-world identities. The goal of the proposed system is to enable users to be represented by a unique, non-transferable digital wearable modeled after their real face, ensuring immediate visual identification within virtual environments and a reliable and secure association with their individual digital identity. To achieve the goal, the system incorporates multiple technologies such as blockchain, soulbound tokens, decentralized storage, and 3D modeling. In a context of increasing virtualization of workspaces and social interactions, the proposed system represents an innovative solution for building a safer and more authentic experience within the metaverse.

Abstract
In a context of increasing virtualization of workspaces and social interactions, the proposed system represents an innovative solution for building a safer and more authentic experience within the metaverse.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
