he environmental impact of building activity has a two-fold perspective: first, the construction industry is responsible for activating a greater and greater demand for building materials, often leading to environmental risks. Indeed, intensive quarrying activity and huge amounts of solid waste and natural stone slurry are frequently generated by the natural stone industry. Secondly, the energy performance of buildings has recently been raised as a matter of the utmost importance in the search for greater environmental sustainability. This work will propose a method to replace natural materials with re-used materials. Afterwards, the chance to use these recycled materials in order to build a prefabricated multi-layer panel with high energy performance features will be suggested. The data presented constitute the first step of a broader research project, and must be considered purely indicative of the potentialities represented by the case studies considered.

Abstract
he environmental impact of building activity has a two-fold perspective: first, the construction industry is responsible for activating a greater and greater demand for building materials, often leading to environmental risks. The data presented constitute the first step of a broader research project, and must be considered purely indicative of the potentialities represented by the case studies considered.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
