Venticinque anni di scavi e ricerche nel sito preistorico e protostorico di Cuccurada-Mogoro (OR)

In this contribution we want to sum up the long-term research carried out at the Cuccurada site under the scientific direction of Enrico Atzeni and Emerenziana Usai, with the collaboration of Riccardo Cicilloni, Giuseppina Ragucci and Sandra Carta. The research, which began in 1994, revealed a multi-layered settlement, with phases of occupation from the recent Neolithic to the Bronze and Iron Ages, with a reuse of the area in Roman and medieval times. The contribution intends to retrace the stages of the research, in a dutiful and heartfelt tribute to Professor Atzeni, who has followed the scientific investigation in person to date
